Kleila Realty, LLC (“Kleila Realty,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides a tenant portal and related property-management services. This policy explains the information we collect, how we use and disclose it, and the choices available to you.
Information we collect
- Identity and contact information, such as your name, mailing address, email address, and telephone number.
- Account and tenancy information, including portal credentials, property and unit information, lease records, notices, and communications.
- Property-management records, including maintenance requests and replies, documents, account and payment information, and service history.
- Technical and security information, such as session, browser, device, access, and application log information.
- Communication preferences, including mobile phone numbers, SMS consent status, and records of an opt-in, opt-out, or assistance request.
How we use information
We use information to operate and secure the portal; administer leases, accounts, payments, maintenance, and other property-management functions; communicate with tenants and applicants; provide requested services; maintain business and audit records; prevent misuse; and comply with legal obligations.
SMS notifications and consent
Where offered, you may voluntarily opt in to receive low-volume operational text messages about maintenance requests, property-management replies, rent or account matters, lease-related reminders, and similar transactional property-management communications. An eligible consent form will identify the mobile number and require an affirmative choice; the option will not be preselected.
SMS consent is optional and is not a condition of tenancy, purchasing services, or using the tenant portal. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out by replying STOP. You may request assistance by replying HELP or contacting us below.
We may record the number submitted, the consent language presented, the date and method of consent, preference changes, and opt-out or help requests. Merely viewing this policy does not enroll you; messages will be sent only after an eligible consent mechanism is available and you affirmatively opt in.
Mobile phone numbers and SMS consent information will not be sold, rented, shared, or disclosed to third parties for their marketing or promotional purposes.
How we disclose information
We may disclose information as reasonably necessary to property owners or managers, maintenance providers and contractors, housing authorities, payment and document providers, professional advisers, and hosting, security, and communications vendors that process information on our behalf. Service providers may use information only to perform services for Kleila Realty, subject to applicable restrictions; they may not use mobile information for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
We may also disclose information when required by law or valid legal process; to protect people, property, rights, and system security; or as part of a merger, financing, reorganization, or transfer of the relevant business, subject to applicable law.
Retention and security
We retain information for as long as reasonably needed for property-management operations, contractual and legal obligations, dispute resolution, security, and recordkeeping. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No storage or transmission system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices
You may update available portal information and communication preferences through the controls we make available, or contact us for assistance. Choosing not to receive SMS notifications does not prevent you from using the portal or receiving communications through other available channels.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our services, practices, or legal obligations. We will post the updated policy here and revise the effective date. Material changes may also be communicated through another appropriate channel.
